WW2 1st Pattern Fairbairn-Sykes F-S Fighting Knife, sold

A rare Wilkinson Sword made World War Two British commando's F-S Fighting knife, a 1st Pattern Fairbairn-Sykes.

A bit of a sleeper, the original sheath now decayed and gone. The 6 3/4 inch blade has light rust pitting and patina; this would clean up. The knife is 11 7.8 in length. Sheathes on their own do come available from time to time; find and one and add it to this knife and the value would at least double. Therefore, a good buy. Please quote item reference G25.
