A good condition though aged (some wood splitting) 19th / 20th Century Madura Sandang Walikat Keris / Kris.

13 3/4 inch blade with good pamor, some patina; clearly 19th or early 20th Century two part construction. The hilt / grip has age splits as to be expected with tropical woods of this age, plus is consequently loose to turn. But the hilt is exceptionally well carved and seems to be damage free apart from the aging. The sheath looks to be original, some splitting itself, a small section missing (along the grain of the wood; it probably came off due to age rather than heavy handling).
