1912P Wilkinson made George 5th British Cavalry

In good condition, a George V British cavalry officer's sword
and scabbard, made by Wilkinson Sword in 1931, original owner's
initials to blade.
 

A good Wilkinson made 1912P British cavalry officer's sword, original
owner's initials "E. B. S." etched to the blade, with
the serial number 62761 (for £10 you can find out the original
purchaser of the sword, see here; Wilkinson
Sword Sales Ledger / Customer Identification).

The 34 3/4 inch blade is in good condition, some patination (black
inert rust) and firm in the hilt. The plated steel hilt is also
in good condition, the grip / twisted grip wire bindings aged but
generally good. The inside of the guard bowl has rusted a little
(we have treated it). The field service leather scabbard has some
aging and scuffs, etc. but is overall good. The sword sheathes and
draws well.
