Sales enquiries

A good Wilkinson made 1912P British cavalry officer's sword, original owner's initials "E. B. S." etched to the blade, with the serial number 62761 (for £10 you can find out the original purchaser of the sword, see here; Wilkinson Sword Sales Ledger / Customer Identification).

The 34 3/4 inch blade is in good condition, some patination (black inert rust) and firm in the hilt. The plated steel hilt is also in good condition, the grip / twisted grip wire bindings aged but generally good. The inside of the guard bowl has rusted a little (we have treated it). The field service leather scabbard has some aging and scuffs, etc. but is overall good. The sword sheathes and draws well.

A very good example at a very low price. Further / full sized pictures available upon request. Please quote item reference number D59 (765)
