WW2 Fairbairn-Sykes F-S Fighting Knife 2nd Pattern by Wilkinson Sword

Sold Item Notice

An aged but good condition (blade still sharp) World War Two British / Australian / Canadian / New Zealand / US commando's fighting knife, Y-shaped ricasso showing this is a hand forged rather than machine made blade. The blade is aged but very sound and the Wilkinson plus F-S etched logos still very clear. The blade is firm in the hilt. This was a private purchase (officer's) knife, so there are no UK MOD markings. The leather sheath is very aged but still sound. Almost certainly this knife was carried in action. A very good investment given the increasing scarcity of these items. Full sized photos available upon request. Please quote item reference number is D53 (750).
