The blade is exceptional and firm in the hilt of course. The brass hilt in very good condition save for some minor scraping to one bar. The black fishskin grip and triple twisted grip wire bindings are all present and correct. The steel scabbard with gilt fittings is in good order, several patina spots; these could be polished off if required. The sword sheathes and draws well.
