Crimean War provenance, British Lovell's 1842 pattern bayonet
marked to 30th (Cambridgeshire) Regiment of Foot, in good condition.
The 30th (Cambridgeshire) Regiment of Foot served in the Crimean
War; this bayonet is marked "30" to the hilt denoting
this regiment. The 17 inch blade is in good condition, various markings
including prolific maker "G Salter & Co". Overall
length 20 3/4 inches, bore 15/16 inches. Everything good and sound.
