Pre Saddam Hussein era Iraqi Army Officers Sword, sold

In very good condition, a pre-Saddam Hussein / Arab Ba'ath Party era Iraqi Army Officers Sword.

With the infamous Iraq Eagle of Saladin 1965 to 1991 Iraqi coat of arms etched to the blade and engraved to the hilt.

The 31 1/2 inch blade by WKC Solingen is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The plated hilt good but with some scratches. The faux fishskin grip and twisted grip wire bindings are in good order. The plated steel scabbard in good condition. The sword sheathes and draws well.
