In good though aged condition, a scarce 1801 Pattern British Baker Bayonet, Craven made, Regiment Markings. Almost certainly saw action in the Napoleonic wars.

Marked "F 57" to the pommel (F platoon, weapon 57), with "Craven" to the spine of the blade.

The 23 3/16 inch blade is better one side than the other, but overall sound to good and firm in the hilt. The brass hilt / grip with small dents / wear, but overall good. The locking pin mechanism works.

A scarce bayonet made rare by the fact it is Craven made and has regimental markings. Yours for £? (too late, now sold). Please quote reference AD92 (0638). Further / full sized images available upon request.
