The 26 1/4 inch nagasa (cutting edge section) blade is still very sharp (period) and in very good condition with no apparent nicks, firm in the hilt. The aluminium hilt / tsuka has most of its original copper coloured paint and is in very good shape. The saya / scabbard has quite a bit of its original war time khaki green camouflage paint remaining. The sword sheathes and draws very well, and the locking mechanism works very well.

A great example at a low price, just £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference AD64 (0564). Further / full sized images available upon request.
