The 30 /12 inch blade is well etched and in very good condition, plus firm in the hilt. The lions head hilt still has much gilt and its two ruby glass eyes (one is fainter than the other). Ebonies grip is good, all the grip wires are here and generally good, but a couple of strands are a little astray in places. Steel scabbard is good but has lost some paint. The sword sheathes and draws well.

A really nice and above average example worthy of any collection. Our price is £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference AD30 (0444). Further / full sized images available upon request.
