WW2 Japanese NCO's Katana, Sold

In overall good condition, a WW2 Japanese NCO's Katana (shin gunto).

Matching serial numbers 35060 to blade and scabbard throat. This is a 100% authentic WW2 Japanese NCO's shin gunto / katana, guaranteed.

The 32 1/16 inch blade is in good condition but has been field sharpened and has a single nick to the cutting edge. A little, tiny bit loose in the hilt (not much). The aluminium hilt retaining some copper paint. The locking pin works but not enough to secure the saya / scabbard. The saya has lost its war time paint (now with patina) and inner lining wood slats, so the saya / scabbard is loose on the blade.
