Circa 1750 Spanish Bilbo Rapier, Garcia Julian, Toledo, Sold

In generally good condition, circa 1750 Spanish Bilbo Rapier, mark of Garcia Julian (Toledo & Cuenca).

The small T mark is for Garcia Julian, Toledo & Cuenca, mid 18C. There are many interpretations for the text aside it; it appears to be "V I IIAIIAV".

The 35 3/8 blade is in overall very good condition, some rust spots but overall good and firm in the hilt. The hardwood grip has lost its cover and inset bars but is good. The hilt / guard is overall very good but with patina and some light rust.
