Sales enquiries

A scarce item in that if bears a GRV cypher (not just a British Royal Coat of Arms). Etched to "Gieves" on the ricasso, so it was actually made by Wilkinson Sword.

The 17 1/2 inch blade is in good condition but with some wear and several patina / rust spots. Blade firm in the hilt. The grip generally very good but with age / wear. The sword knot is good, some slight fraying. The leather and gilt metal fittings scabbard is generally good. The dirk sheathes and draws very well.

What a lovely item, especially so with its original know. Well priced at £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference AC67 (0335). Further / full sized images available upon request.
