The 30 inch blade is in very good condition, just a couple of patina splotches, firm in the hilt. The hilt has lost its gilt and has some bending towards the pommel. The black fishskin (for junior officers) grip is in very good condition and would clean up well; the twisted grip wire bindings also good. The scabbard with age but sound. The folding guard section of the guard works well and locates onto the top scabbard locket's retaining pin. The sword sheathes and draws well.

A good example of a scarce sword; yours for £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference AC60-P40 (0311). Further / full sized images available upon request.
