ERII British Royal Naval Officer's Sword, Sold

A good grey etched ERII British Royal Naval officer's sword, in very good condition.

No maker's name to the ricasso, but almost certainly Solingen made. This sword is pretty much as new / in parade ground condition.

The 31 1/4 inch blade is very well etched with some fading and a little wear, but not very much, and firm in the hilt. The hilt is good, with most if not all gilt remaining. The faux fishskin grip is very good, as are the twisted grip wire bindings. The faux leather and gilt metal fittings scabbard is good, some wear. The sword sheathes and draws well.
