19C Ottoman Yataghan with gold blade inscriptions, Sold

In good condition, a good 19th Century Ottoman Yataghan with gold blade inscriptions.

The 23 1/2 inch blade is in very good condition, with gold decoration including Arabic script still very clear. The blade is firm in the hilt. The hilt with silver mountings. The marine ivory (walrus tusk) grip with plenty of age cracks but complete and with a single red coral cabochon insert.#
