Early Victorian 1821P British Light Cavalry
Officer's Sword, Sold |
In very good condition, a stunning Early Victorian 1821 pattern
light cavalry officer's sword with pipeback blade and Georgian style
tablet etching.

One of the best we have seen; the blade is in exceptionally good
condition. No maker's name, but certainly a quality maker.

The 32 1/4 inch blade is superbly grey etched, some sheathing wear
to the pipeback but otherwise pretty much as new. Blade firm in
the hilt, the hilt also very good. The fishskin grip and grip wire
bindings in very good condition. The steel scabbard with some age,
but very sound. The sword sheathes and draws well.
What a beauty! Be quick, just £? (too late, now sold). Please
