The plain 31 1/2 inch blade stamped "Erfurt" (under Prussian crown acceptance mark) one side, with makers "Otto Mertens Solingen" mark to the obverse, in good condition and firm in the hilt. The hilt with age, a light pitting, ut sound. Grip good. Steel scabbard with some dings and age / light pitting. Sword sheathes and draws well.
