British Brunswick bayonet, 1837 model, 1st pattern, sold

In good condition, a scarce British Brunswick bayonet, 1837 model, 1st pattern.

Guaranteed authentic, with Crown over E (for Enfield) over 6 (inspector) acceptance mark to blade.

The 14 9/16 inch blade is in very good condition for its age and still firm in the hilt. The brass hilt with some signs of wear / knocks, the pin mechanism is stiff but works.
