Japanese Shin Shinto Wakizashi, unsigned, sold

In fairly good condition, a Japanese Shin Shinto Wakizashi (short sword), unsigned.

Although this wakizashi has seen better days, it is none-the-less still a notable sword; just look at the decoration to the saya (scabbard) and tsuba (guard) - the tsuba alone is worth well over £100. Some really small nicks to the cutting edge, the habaki (collar around the blade) is split along the weakest edge, but could be repaired.
