A very rare Sumatran 28 Luk Bugis Keris / Kris with unusual Jawa Demam hilt variation. 36 cm Blade in very good condition; clearly the pamor has been smoothed out along the blade but is still evident in the Sor-soran (large top section) of the blade. The sheath may be a later replacement; the top section comes away from the bottom (you can always glue it). The keris sits slightly proud of the sheath.
