Queen Elizabeth 2nd (ERII) British Royal Air Force Officer's Wilkinson Sword

Sales enquiries

We have not researched serial number 88553 on the Wilkinson sales ledger (you can do this for yourselves for £10); it may have once belonged to a famous RSF officer. It is not in parade ground condition but refurbishers Crisp & Sons may well be able to do this for you if someone is looking for a Wilkinson Sword for a serving RAF officer.

The 32 inch blade suffers from age crazing of the electroplating, but it otherwise in good condition and firm in the hilt. The brass hilt has some tarnishing and age, but is overall good. The grip is also good, again with age (a little grubby) and with a small gap to the backpiece. The leather and metal fitting scabbard is generally good. The sword sheathes and draws well.

A scarce sword and yours for only £? (too late, now sold - original sales price divulged for small fee). Please quote item reference number AA28 (0020). Further / full sized images upon request.
