Sales enquiries

Guarantee authentic, this is a less common maker than the normal Ames, the forte / ricasso marked "C Roby, W Chelmsford, Mass" one side, "US 1864 AGM" (inspection mark) the other.

The 35 inch blade is aged but in very good shape and firm in the hilt / guard. The leather grip is original but has lost its grip wire (a replacement is quite easily made with brass wire and a drill at slow speed). Overall, above average.

An iconic "long knives" cavalry sabre. Yours for just £xxx (too late - now sold - but we will advise original sales price for a small fee). Please quote item reference AA05 (0004). Further / full sized images upon request.
