French Model 1882 Infantry Officer's Sword, (sold)

In good condition, an 1882M French infantry sword with scabbard.

A well above average 1882M infantry officer's sword. Plain 33 1/2 inch blade in very good order and firm in the hilt. The hilt with some oxidation (aging) but very sound and generally in good condition. The walnut grip is also good with the twisted grip wire bindings present and correct except for a small kink on one turn (slight grazing to walnut one side). Sheathes and draws every well.
