Sales enquiries

A rare chance to own an authentic 18C Arabian / Persian shamshir sabre for a very low price. The triple fullered blade means either Syrian made or European import (as was common), 18th Century; I suspect the blade is European. A scarce short version of this much sought after sabre, the 70cm blade being perhaps ideally suited for close hand-to-hand combat.

The blade has a few nicks to the cutting edge, firm in the hilt. The typical two part wooden grip with brass backpiece, star insets and silvered wire bound ferrule area. Only £? (too late, now sold) . Item Ref: 783 - Tube 6. Further / full sized images available upon request.
