19th / 20th Century Ottoman / Turkish Yatagan Short Sabre (sold)

In fair condition, a coral cabochon and camel bone hilted Ottoman / Turkish Yatagan short sabre.

A highly sought after camel bone hilted yatagan with inscribed blade and coral cabochons.

The 55cm Arabic style inscribed blade is firm in the hilt. The camel bone hilt is a little age warped as does happen. A small fragment of the metalwork to the hilt has come away but is in the hilt recess (you can hear it when you shake the sabre). Item Ref: 741 (323).
