Prussian 1889 Model Infantry Officer's Sword (sold)

A good to very good condition Prussian model of 1889 infantry officer's sword and scabbard.

In very good condition - one of the grip wire bindings has broken and come loose, but apart from that and a slightly aged scabbard, this 1889M is in very good order. 72.5 cm plain blade in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The sword sheathes very well. The folding guard a little loose but sound. My item reference number 629 - Box 245-1m.
