1881 Model Russian Artillery Trooper's Shaska

Sales enquiries

Be warned, there are many more reproductions masquerading as authentic Russian shaskas on the market then there are genuine articles. I 100% guarantee this shaska is authentic.

Incredibly rare 1881m example of a short dragoon style shaska for an artillery trooper. Correct Tula inspection mark with matching rack numbers (392) to the hilt and scabbard. Very clean 74cm blade firm in the hilt. Hilt generally in good order but with some wood age splits and a little lower ferrule movement as to be expected. Sheathes well and the scabbard is in good order. This is such a rare sabre I simply do not know what price to put on it. Further / full sized pictures available upon request. My item reference number 598 (225).
