In good condition, a Robert Mole made 1897 Pattern George 5th
(WW1 era) Infantry NCO’s / Sergeant's Sword with field service
leather scabbard.


Scarce NCO's / Sergeant's version of the 1897 Pattern British Infantry
Sword. Plain 32 inch blade with Mole Birmingham maker and various
inspection marks, firm in the hilt. Steel hilt, some evidence of
of past pitting in overall good condition. Leather faux fishskin
grip and twisted grip wire ring bindings in good order. Leather
and steel fittings scabbard; leather worn and a small section missing
one side. Sheathes well. Very good item given the normal very harsh
and long service lives of these swords. Further pictures available
