Hilt Broadsword (Sold)
A Wilkinson made Queen Elizabeth 2nd Scottish infantry officer's
basket hilted broadsword, in parade ground condition. Please note:
There is no scabbard (see information on where to get one below).
A stunning near flawless Wilkinson made Scottish infantry officer's
broadsword, made in 1982 (serial number 113237). The only imperfections
I can see are a small amount of rust where the blade joins the hilt
(pretty much hidden by the scabbard buffer) and the hilt metalwork
needs cleaning / shining in places, but it will come up nicely with
The 32.5 inch blade is in pristine condition otherwise and firm
in the hilt. The (synthetic) fishskin grip, etc. are in very good
order, as are the crimson tassel, blue ribbon edging and hilt liner.
A beautiful sword and in parade ground condition overall. Please
do not ask; there is no scabbard and I do not have a scabbard for
it. If you want a scabbard the best option is to buy one from Pooley
Swords in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, England. If you / I send
them this sword, they will make sure one fits perfectly. They charge
