Large Sudanese Kaskara With Arabic Script Blade (Sold)

Arabic scripted blade Kaskara from the Anglo-Sudan Wars.

With a massive 88 cm blade, this is one of the largest kaskaras I have seen, possibly for a mounted Sudanese officer. With the usual twin moon talismans, this sword is unique in that it has very good Arabic scrolls all the way down the blade.

In good condition overall, the blade has some rust spots, the leather bound grip is a little worn. Further / full sized photos available upon request. Item reference number 550.
