Upper Congolese (African) Ceremonial Sword, Sold

An Upper Congolese African ceremonial sword, possibly late 19th Century.

With antelope or other animal hair cover for the grip, this is an well made and very unique sword. Hand made and patterned metal blade, wooden grip / hilt. 27 1/2 inches long overall. I would be prepared to accept £? (too late, now sold) for this sword. Further / full sized images available upon request. My item reference number is 458 (154).
