Etching on both sides of blade including makers name "Manton & Co" (London and Calcutta). Fine etching, detail to backpiece, ivory handle with detailed brass slugs plus proof slug visible under langets show this to be an authentic mamaluke (so many are reproductions) and in very good condition.
