The 32 1/2 inch well etched blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt / grip. The hilt / guard in very good condition, some age spots (should come brilliant clean if desired using a decent metal finisher such as Simichrome). The black fishskin grip in very good condition, as are the associated twisted grip wire bindings. The leather field service scabbard and frog are good but a little aged and scuffed from wear (a little plain leather balsam may be desirable). The sword sheathes and draws well.
