No maker’s name or royal cypher to date it, but blue and gilt etching and “colichemarde” blade pretty much means pre-1830. Thia is a well above average circa 1810-1820 (Georgian era) courtsword.

The 32 1/4 well etched Colichemarde blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The superb beaded steel hilt and grip are in exceptionally good condition. The leather and steel fittings scabbard has some age and slight scuffing but is in incredibly good condition for its circa 200 year old age. The sword sheathes and draws well.
A must for any serious courtsword collector; grab it quick though, just £600. Please quote item reference ZX50. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 2028 107 x 16 x 15 (0.96).
