The current model of both infantry and cavalry officers in France. Modeled on the Napoleonic French An XI/XIII light cavalry sword.
The 32 inch plain blade is in good condition and firm in the hilt. The brass hilt / guard also good, as is the composite grip. Twisted grip wire bindings are present and correct. Plated steel scabbard with a little age but good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
