Dated July 1886 to the blade’s forte / ricasso.
The 32 3/4 inch plain blade has some wear / age but is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The anodized steel guard and hilt is in good shape / condition. The walnut grip is in good condition but the twisted grip wire decoration is absent. The steel scabbard has some inert small rust spots but is still good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
