The 32 inch blade is in aged but fair condition and firm in the hilt. The plated steel guard / hilt has age, notably flaking plating exposing small light rust patches, but is otherwise good. The fishskin grip is good, the twisted grip wire bindings a little bunched here and there. The original leather sword knot is aged, the acorn especially, with wear / surface cracks, but sound. The leather field service scabbard is aged and worn / scuffed but still good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
