Unmodified by the Japanese (they cut the guards down to form so called Heiho’s). No maker’s name or unit markings; likely Solingen made.
The plain 24 1/4 inch blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The blackened steel guard / hilt is in very good condition also. The wooden grip scales / sides are very good, a little age / wear. The leather scabbard and frog are good but aged / faded / surface layer crinkled / worn. The cutlass sheathes and draws well.
A well above average example of the iconic m1911 Dutch Klewang, just £625. Please quote item reference ZV03. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 2204 84 x 13 x 13 (1.575).
