The blade speaks for itself. Very good gunto fittings. One mekuga-ana (peg hole) as the fittings were made to fit the blade, not visa versa as was the norm with gunto mounted family blades. See info on Dotanuki Hyobu here.
The 20 inch nagasa (cutting edge section) blade is virtually flawless with prominent hamon and hada, in high original polish. Gunto fittings very good, some age and tarnish. The spring release catch works and hold the saya / scabbard, which also is in good order.
