Circa 1900. A true mandau with brass inserts and carved blade aspects (not added, carved).

The 21 3/4 inch blade has lost a lot of the little brass disc inserts, but many remain and the blade is both good and firm in the hilt. The hardwood hilt has suffered age and some damage, but still looks good. The sheath sections are starting to come apart (can be glued) but the scabbard is pretty good overall. The sword sheathes and draws well.
