The ricasso partly obscurated but showing “Little Britain London”, so it would have come from the retailer G. Kenning & Son, an outfitter specializing in clothing and other to Masons, still in business to this day (G Kenning Web Site).
The 32 inch blade is sound and good but has patina (inert black surface rust staining) to the etched areas. Blade firm in hilt. The Gothic brass hilt good but with age / brown tarnish. The fishskin grip and associated grip wire bindings are in good order. The steel field service scabbard is sound but with age / light inert surface rust / a couple of small dings. The sword sheathes well if a little loosely.
