Marked "V CPATC 21" for Cinque Ports Area Transport Corps with the maker's (Kirschbaum) Knight's Head logo to the forte and British War Department crown over 10 view (inspection) mark to the obverse.

The 22 3/8 inch blade is in very good condition save for the very tip which is bent (has been dropped, no doubt would hammer back). Blade firm in the hilt. The brass hilt and grip all good, just worn, some dents, etc.

A nice sword for Cinque Port enthusiasts. A snip at just £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference number W73a (1197). Further / full sized pictures available upon request.
