Heavy solid blade most likely for use as a weapon rather than for ceremonies.
The 24 inch hand forged blade is in good condition and firm in the grip / hilt, the cross guard / knucklebow with some movement. The bone grip in very good though aged condition but with a couple of small chips. The scabbard in poor but sound condition, the fittings loose, the wood splintering and the blade cutting through (be warned, be careful). The sword does not sheath fully unless witrh care.
