The 11 3/4 inch blade, Wilkinson logo to forte, is in good condition and firm in the hilt. The hilt, likely repainted during its service life is also good with all silver metal studs in place. Kings crown to pommel. The scabbard in good shape and marked “A S H” to the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders on the inner side of the metal banding to the hilt and sheath. The dirk sheathes and draws well.
