ER2 / Elizabeth II Scottish Basket Hilted Wilkinson Sword, Sold

In overall very good condition, a ER2 / Elizabeth II Scottish Basket Hilted Broadsword by Wilkinson Sword.

Serial number 96647 for 1970 (original officer probably can be identified - cost £10 with Royal Armouries). The is overall very good for age but the point has been sharpened.

The 31 3/4 inch blade is in overall very good condition, etching very clear, point has been sharpened, firm in the hilt. The hilt good, as is the grip and grip wire. Original crimson basket insert and royal blue ribbon / edging good for age. Plated scabbard good, some speckles. Sword sheathes and draws well.
