Made by Thurkle, etched to the blade "celer et andax" "The Kings Royal Rifle Corps".

The 32 3/4 inch blade is in good condition, a steady grey patina, some darker patina spots / patches. Blade firm in the hilt. The hilt in good shape, some patina, light pitting, and wear. The fishskin grip has losses one side, the grip wire is good. The leather field service scabbard is overall aged but good (may be a replacement). The sword sheathes and draws well.

Quite a scarce regimental sword. Well worth £? (too late, now sold). Please ask for item reference U96 (0939). Further / full sized images available upon request.
