A rare religious ceremony sword from Malabar; the holes in the blade are a common feature of these swords (not subsequent mounting holes).

The 27 inch blade is aged / worn but in good sound condition and firm in the hilt. The hilt with age but good. The wooden grip with some shrinkage cracking, but sound. The little prayer pommel ends in good order.
Super rare sword for a super low price; just was £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference Q39. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 0356-1m (1.703).
