In VGC, a Georgian / William IV British 1821P Light Cavalry Officer’s Pipe Back Sword

VGC = Very Good Condition. King William IV = 26 June 1830 until 20 June 1837, so this British light cavalry pipe back officer’s sword dates to between then. Marked at the forte / ricasso and scabbard to “Johnston’s Sword Cutlers, No. 68 St James’s Street, London”.
The 34 1/2 inch pipe back quill pointed blade with “tablet” section etching is in very good condition, etching feinter one side, some light pitting towards the point, firm in the hilt. The steel hilt / guard is very good. The lacquered fishskin grip is very good also, as are the silver metal twisted grip wire bindings. The steel scabbard has a few scuffs, minor dings, small patina patches but is very good; well above average. The sword sheathes and draws well.
