Held by many to be the highest quality maker of the time, this Mole made George V 1912P has the serial number M9225.

The 35 inch blade is well etched, in good condition (a little wear and light patina) and firm in the hilt. The hilt / bowl guard s good but with age / patina / tarnish, especially on the inside. The fishskin grip has wear and small patches of loss; the twisted grip wire bindings remain good. The field service leather scabbard has age and wear for sure, but is good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
Clearly well used but in good condition; a really evocative and iconic sword. Just was £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference AG97. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 1623-125x17x17 (2.395).
